CD obsahuje hudební suity Václava Trojana (1907-1983) z filmů "Princ Bajaja" a "Císařův slavík" + 11 českých a slovenských lidových písní. Jde o vydání určené zřejmě pro zahraniční trh, protože je - až na jednu z verzí komentáře Jana Vičara - vše v angličtině (i názvy skladeb). Filmové svity jsou zkomponované pro soubor Pro musica moderna, hrající v obsazení housle, kytara a akordeon. V této úpravě je interpretují Václav Hudeček (housle), Lubomír Brabec (kytara) a Pavel Drešer (akordeon).
